Ziyuan ("we") handles personal data under Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
What we collect
Account: your email address when you sign in with Google or an email link. No passwords.
Chart details: birth date and time, gender, birthplace (longitude and time zone only, for true solar time), and an optional name for the book.
Payment and delivery: payments are processed by Stripe; we receive the result, never your card number. For the Hardcover Edition we collect the recipient's name, address and phone, used only for printing and delivery.
Technical: server logs; a sign-in cookie for up to 180 days; Google Analytics visit statistics (pages viewed, rough country or region, device; it uses cookies), never including your birth details, email or private links. To opt out, block these cookies or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
How we use it
- To cast and read your chart and make your book;
- To deliver the book and the hardcover;
- To manage your account and purchases;
- To answer your questions.
We do not sell personal data or use your birth details for direct marketing.
Who receives it
Only as needed: Google (sign-in and site statistics), Stripe (payments), email delivery, hosting, the AI service used to write the prose (chart reasoning only, no name or email), and the printer and courier (hardcover delivery details and the book file only).
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time; after deletion purchased books can no longer be read online.
